There are 2 blocks of flats in Dennistoun in Whitevale Street. They are an eyesore, pity we couldn't get our councillors to investagate all the coming and going off drug dealers and vandalism. They will look out of place when the Olympic Games come to Glasgow in 2014 to horrible buildings right in the centre. If you look further down at the flats in Bridgeton they are a lot easier on the eye they have been refurbished and also have uplight for night time. Can someone please help get the councillors on board or the Evening Times do their own investigation into the state of the place and help decent tenants.
Couldn't agree more, these seem to be part of the same blocks in Comelypark St/ Slatefield Street. They seem to have demolished the blocks in the middle and left the ones at either end. They are in a right mess, covered in graffiti and the empty closes being a magnet for all sorts. I feel sorry for the one or two tennants that seem to still be living in these blocks.
Suggest they make the architect's who design these buildings , stay in them ,see if they like staying in such a monstrosity
